Toast Virginia Deployment Guidelines
Updated January 2026
The Toast Virginia Deployment Guidelines provide essential instructions for all campaign partners — including wineries, distributors, DMOs, tourism offices, and media collaborators — to ensure consistent, high-quality representation of the Toast Virginia brand.
Before using any campaign materials, please take a few minutes to review these guidelines carefully. By downloading or using any Toast Virginia campaign materials, you agree to comply with all requirements outlined in the Toast Virginia Deployment Guidelines. Unauthorized alteration, redistribution, or use of licensed images outside the campaign’s approved purposes is strictly prohibited.
Brand Integrity
-
Always use approved Toast Virginia logos, colors, and typography exactly as provided.
-
Do not stretch, recolor, or alter any logo files.
-
The Toast Virginia brand is designed to reflect warmth, authenticity, and connection — maintain this tone across all uses.
Asset Usage
-
Campaign photos and videos are licensed solely for use within Toast Virginia promotional efforts.
-
Assets may not be extracted, modified, resold, or repurposed for unrelated campaigns.
-
Partners may add their own logos or bottle shots within provided template zones but must not remove existing Toast Virginia branding.
Messaging Alignment
-
Maintain the campaign’s voice: inviting, celebratory, and inclusive.
-
Reinforce key themes — togetherness, versatility, local pride, and responsible enjoyment.
-
Avoid technical or elitist language that creates barriers to wine enjoyment.
-
Always include a responsible drinking message when applicable.
Co-Branding & Local Adaptation
-
Partners are encouraged to localize content (e.g., by featuring regional landmarks, local foods, or winery events) while keeping the Toast Virginia framework intact.
-
When co-branding, Toast Virginia’s logo should appear in equal or greater visual prominence relative to partner logos.
-
Local DMOs should coordinate with participating wineries to ensure unified event and social promotion.
Responsible Representation
-
All materials must adhere to state and federal alcohol marketing standards.
-
Campaign assets must not depict under-21 audiences, intoxication, unsafe consumption, or driving contexts.
-
Include one of the following statements in all consumer-facing materials:
-
“Enjoy Virginia wine responsibly and in moderation.”
-
“For adults 21 and over.”
-
File Management & Attribution
-
Access assets only through the official Toast Virginia page.
-
Do not distribute campaign materials via third-party websites or social channels without permission.
-
Attribute all campaign visuals as part of the Toast Virginia statewide marketing effort when applicable (e.g., “Image courtesy of Toast Virginia”).
